  • Rupin Kumar

    Rupin is Founding Partner at Equidus. He is a seasoned international Project Finance and Investment professional with strong experience in a wide range of activities including structuring of key commercial agreements, debt and equity syndication, valuation and execution of big-ticket deals in Oil, Gas, Power, LNG terminals and Petrochemicals. He has served in Financial Advisory and Corporate Development positions at companies like Qatar Petroleum, ONEtoONE Corporate Finance, KPMG, EDF Energy where he worked with PE Funds, Commercial banks, Export Credit Agencies and financial institutions arranging financing and equity for deals and projects. He also served as Advisor to State Finance Policy Committee in the State of Qatar advising on various Sovereign bonds and transactions. He has received his MBA from London Business School and a Bachelor of Technology from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur. Rupin is a British National.

  • Rajesh Mehra

    Rajesh Mehra is a Tax and Accounting Partner at Equidus. Rajesh is a Fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. He has experience of over 28 years in professional accounting and tax consultancy with Large Industrial Groups.  His focus areas include financial due diligence, cross border accounting and tax advisory for business transactions including Mergers & Acquisitions and Project Finance. He is well experienced in accounting and business consolidation, efficient tax structure, share capital changes, working capital accounting and inventory appraisal for Sale Purchase Agreements and adjustments. Rajesh is an Indian national.

  • Rajiv Ramchandran

    Rajiv Ramchandran is a Director at Equidus. Rajiv has over 30 years of proven leadership and expertise in M&A, corporate finance, strategic planning, business development, and global operations. Rajiv was also the Regional Director for Rainwater Business Advisers where he drove sell-side and buy-side M&A Advisory for the lower middle market firms, and a Partner at ONE to ONE Corporate Finance, a boutique M&A Advisory firm focused on middle market transactions.  Rajiv is also a Founding Partner at Kara Partners focused on driving targeted capital investments in Energy (Oil & Gas, Renewables), Software, Real Estate and Life Sciences sectors.  He has sourced deals for Capital Raise transactions ranging from $500k to $1B in overall funding across targets in US, LATAM, Africa and Asia. Rajiv has an MBA in Finance from the Chicago Booth School of Business, and Master’s degree in computer science and Space Sciences from the Florida Institute of Technology.  Rajiv is a US national.

  • GONZALO PEÑA

    Gonzalo Peña is Latin America Head and Director at Equidus. Gonzalo is an Industrial Engineer from Universidad Catolica de Chile. He has an extensive financial experience and. Gonzalo has been in charge of project finance, treasury and M&A, working for multinational companies, in Latam and UK. He was CFO at a Chilean subsidiary of Innergex, an IPP from Canada, which on 2018 acquired a 140 MW power plant in Chile. He also worked as external consultant for Julius Baer, a Swiss Private Bank. Mr. Peña was formerly Corporate Finance Director at CSAV, a shipping company acquired by Hapag Lloyd on 2014. Prior to this he worked for Thames Water, a utility company responsible for the public water supply in large parts of Greater London. One of Gonzalo’s business achievements was covered by the Economist, and other was recognised as the most innovative financial transaction in the shipping industry on 2007. Gonzalo has done MSc in Finance at London Business School. He is a Chile national .
